Healing Starts Where Words Stop

Creative, somatic therapy for neurodivergent families and overwhelmed professionals. Drop the mask, regulate your nervous system, and find your calm—no artistic skills required.

Are you exhausted from holding it all together?

Whether you are a parent managing your child’s explosive "Coke Bottle Effect" after school, or a "Corporate Swan" paddling furiously just to prevent burnout in the boardroom, or hiding infertility or memory loss, masking your true self is exhausting.

When your nervous system is running on empty, traditional talk therapy can feel like just more noise. You don't need to be analysed; you need a safe space to exhale.

The Solution: At the Phoenix Kitchen Table, we use art, nature, and somatic tools to bypass the overwhelmed brain. We help you physically discharge stress and find your anchor, without needing to find the right words.

Your Journey

Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

What You’ll Walk Away With:

A Regulated Nervous System: Move from feeling "fizzy," anxious, and overwhelmed to feeling physically grounded and safe.

A Tangible Toolkit: Practical, creative strategies to manage anxiety, prevent burnout, and navigate life's squiggly lines in the real world.

Authentic Connection: The freedom to drop the mask, stop performing, and finally feel understood.

How It Works: Your Path to the Kitchen Table.

Every session with you is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.

WELCOME TO THE KITCHEN TABLE

Phoenix Creative Therapy is a sanctuary for resilience, based in the South Cotswolds and online. We are not a clinical medical practice. We don't ask you to lie on a couch or to be analysed. Instead, we use the science of Neuroaesthetics, Therapeutic Voice, and Somatic Therapy to bypass the exhausted logical brain and help your nervous system find its calm. Whether you are a parent navigating the complex world of SEND, a professional paddling furiously to keep up appearances, or managing chronic pain or memory loss, you are welcome here.

About Us

The Strategist. The Performer. The Healer.

Hi, I’m Jaynee. My path wasn't a straight line—it was a "squiggly" one. I have spent 30 years in corporate marketing (Maestro Marketing), taught hundreds of children to find their voice (Little Voices), and navigated the fires of my own life, from helping loved ones through dementia, and for myself, the anxiety of fertility and miscarriages and the NICU to advocating for my twins' complex needs (EHCPs, CRPS) and surviving workplace bullying. I combine corporate strategy, creative expression, and lived empathy to help you find your resilience.

Our Core Values

Creativity

Creativity is not about being "good at art"; it is about getting unstuck. When logic fails and words run out, creativity offers a different language. Whether it is moulding clay to release anger or mapping a timeline to process grief, the act of making something new shifts our biology, turning "I can't" into "I made this.

Finding a new way to solve an old problem.

Growth

Growth is rarely a straight line. It is "squiggly," messy, and often born from our hardest chapters—be it a diagnosis, a redundancy, or a loss. We don't try to erase your history. Instead, like the Phoenix, we use it as the rich soil for who you are becoming next. We honour the journey from "surviving" to "thriving.

Believing that even in the ashes, we can rise.

Trauma and anxiety thrive in silence. We focus on re-establishing three vital connections: connection to your own body (somatic safety), connection to the natural world (grounding), and connection to a community that says, "Me too." When we feel truly connected and heard, our nervous system finally feels safe enough to rest.

Healing does not happen in isolation.

Connection

Authenticity

A logo featuring a stylized white phoenix with colorful watercolor splashes at the center, accompanied by the word 'Resilience' in white, set against a teal background.

Resilience isn't about being "tough," suppressing your feelings, or wearing a brave face. It is about building a tangible "Kit Bag" of tools that helps you navigate life's waves without drowning. It is about finding your inner "Poso"—the part of you that knows how to paddle through the challenge and find the shore

Building the tools to weather the storm.

Resilience

Why do these values matter? Because they create the safety you need to heal.

Here at the kitchen table, Authenticity means you never have to perform or pretend. Creativity means we will always find a language for your pain, even when you have no words. Connection means you are no longer walking this path alone. Growth means we honour your messy, squiggly journey, and Resilience is the promise that we will find your inner ‘Poso’ together. These aren’t just my business values; they are my promise to you.

We value the messy, unpolished truth over a perfect façade. Whether you are a neurodivergent child exhausted from masking at school, or a "Corporate Swan" tired of gliding serenely while paddling furiously underneath, you are welcome here exactly as you are. No judgment, no performance—just you.

A "No Mask" zone.
